Monetize, Fame it!

I have joined Blogging to Fame! It is a contest for bloggers out there who needs to “establish their authority in the blogosphere”.

***I have been so busy trying to earn some extra income to buy me a laptop. Oh, I can get it from my salary or from my savings but I don’t want to. I don’t want to incur additional expense and would rather get it out of extra income from my blogging. I know you have noticed an ‘onslaught’ of sponsored posts in my other blog. Please bear with me, friends. I draw those posts out of personal experiences, if possible, so when you get to read it, it wouldn’t be just an advertisement but a personal post as well.Some blogger friends commented that I have been taking on a lot of tasks lately. I am. But I make sure I can do it. The only hindrance I can see in accomplishing all those tasks is my dial-up connection. It’s a pain in the ass! Imagine the speed… 31.2 kbps!!! Who can surf with that kind of speed? That’s why you’ll notice I only bloghop in the mornings and early evenings. During breaktimes in the office and those times I am not doing anything. At home, I can surf but it takes time. I normally sleep around 2am. I’m an insomniac. So it’s a good thing because I can go online a bit longer. But still…So I am now thinking of getting a dsl connection. I will get it from my online earnings. Yey! That way, I can go to all your blogs and read and comment and still do my other online stuff (like creating themes and pixelling and designing blogs).***

I am taking steps on increasing my page rank. I will post some steps I’ve taken and the result (positive or negative) on the next few posts to come.

Another thing, have you noticed that when you click on the ‘next page’ link below my post, the next post appearing is still my current post when it should show my next recent post? Master pointed it out and I thought of looking in the codes and all but I haven’t seen anything wrong with it. I don’t know how to correct it! I thought that it has something to do with my previous theme but, see, even when I changed themes it’s still the same.

Can a good soul out there help me figure out how I can correct this?

Update! I asked JAngelo’s help with regards to this posting problem of mine and he was able to solved it! Yey! I was reluctant at first to ask because I thought it would be too imposing but I thought why not try asking and maybe he’d reply. Boy, was his reply fast! He answered right away. He’s busy and all but he took time to answer my SOS. Bait!

The culprit is my sideblog plugin. Apparently, it is not compatible with the theme I am currently using. So I now deactivated it and voila! Everything’s fixed! Yey!
