It’s the thought that counts…

There are people I know that scoff at the idea of greeting cards. She says that it is an additional junk inside the house and would have love to receive anything other than a greeting card. Personally, I love receiving greeting cards. Holiday Cards are given by friends and relatives every year come December until early January. And I must admit that it gives me a thrill when I receive one.
You see for me, it’s the thought that counts. It makes a big difference when you receive a holiday card, a letter, a note inserted in something given to you… anything handwritten or well-thought of. Something that will make you realize the person who sent it reserved valuable time and energy thinking and finding that something he or she sent you. For me, I value that card or note more than the actual gift given.
My friends know this. That’s why when they give me something, they always insert a note in it. I remember how happy it made me when my friend Lynn sent over a Bible from New York. The Bible has some notes at the front and back flap of it. Personalized. I treasure it.
So what say you, give out personalized/customized holiday cards this coming Christmas? I say, go for it! Believe me, it makes a world of difference. And VistaPrint.com knows it. They are offering unique custom holiday cards for your friends and love ones. Find really beautiful cards there and make sure you think of something to tell the recipient, something that comes from the heart.
