Checks or cash?
A friend recently told me that she prefers cash in paying for her purchases or when paying for services contracted and household and personal bills. I told her that using cash can spell danger especially now that times are hard and a lot of unemployed persons resort to desperate measures to get some money. But she is adamant in saying that it is harder for her to track checks issued than monitor her cash payments.
Oh well.
Personally, opening a checking account is a wise decision. Not only will payments become easier and safer but also when you draw a check today, your money allocated for it can still earn interest income for the almost two days those funds are floating in your bank account. Safe, convenient and beneficial to you. That’s what a checking account can give you.
