My sister wants a puppy

beagle_new.jpgMy sister’s birthday is coming up next week. She has been requesting that we give her a puppy as a birthday gift but I am still thinking about it. I am concerned about who will take care of the puppy when she is not at home? Of course, all of us go to the office or in my father’s case, he has to take care of the family business. So I am thinking that if we are all out of the house, who will be left to take care of the puppy, right?

My sister teaches and she cannot bring the puppy with her. But since she wants one, might as well give her something that will really make her happy. We will just probably think of something, a solution to this dilemma. A beagle is what she wants. She loves Snoopy and now she wants the real one!

Beagles belong to the medium sized dog. It is a type of hound. They say that Snoopy is the most famous beagle. I believe that there is a breed of beagle that is pocket sized, small enough to fit in your pocket. And most of this breed can be found in England, where they really came from. Most beagles are tricolor, white with large black areas and light brown shading. They have a strong sense of smell. It has an even temper and a gentle disposition. They enjoy company, and although they may initially be standoffish with strangers they are easily won over. They make poor guard dogs for this reason, although their tendency to bark or howl when confronted with the unfamiliar makes them good watch dogs.

Puppies are like babies, small organs. What goes in comes out in a hurry. We had to come home at lunch everday with ours for the first few months and water, feed and let him out.
