Shindig

Our neighborhood is holding a shindig at the clubhouse. We received party invitations already. Apparently, the shindig will be for the outgoing president of the homeowners association. In all honesty, we are not active with anything concerning homeowners association. We try to when it is really important but other than that, we leave it to others. But I am thinking that maybe, one of us should at least represent our whole family in homeowners association activities. I am volunteering myself and I will start with this shindig.
I am an accountant, a CPA. I'd been working for 10 years as a corporate rat when I decided to quit. I am now working at home as a consultant and full time blogger.
