The wonders of iLASIK

When LASIK technology is mentioned, I remember my friend, Lynn, who underwent LASIK procedure a couple of years ago. Her vision returned to 20-20 and she is benefiting from her clear vision ever since. But did you know there is another new procedure that is known as the iLASIKā„¢ Procedure? It is the modern LASIK in other words. The procedure uses two lasers unlike the old procedure that uses only one. The procedure goes like this… a wave-front technology maps the patient’s eyes, then an ultra-fast, computer-guided laser creates a corneal flap, and then, the second laser is guided by the wave-front mapping data. After this, expect your vision to be corrected. I do believe this one is safer.

And because of the advantages of having clear vision is not lost to many, even the NASA and the U.S. Military are both making use of iLASIK procedure to improve and increase the performance of critical personnel. iLASIK is being tapped by the Department of Defense (DOD) and NASA to improve the vision of specialized personnel facing extreme, physically demanding conditions. Now if that is not a testament to the wonders of this new LASIK procedure, I don’t know what is.
