Fire exit

When I enter a building, I unconsciously take note of where the fire exit is through the exit signs on the floor I am at. It is a product of attending so many building security seminars and briefings when I was still acting as the admin officer of a media company where I was employed before. I acted as the finance and admin officer of that company. We were only around ten employees and as an admin officer, it was my duty to know the basic safety measures to be taken during an emergency.
An exit sign is very important for those who are tasked to be the point person in emergencies. In my case back then, it was easy considering our office had a fire exit near us. With so many fires breaking out in different parts of the city, exit signs are very important, especially when there’s chaos and you don’t know where to run to.
If the fire exits in the building your company is housed in doesn’t have signs on it, tell the building administration to check out EXIT SIGNS at ExitSigns.com immediately. Get the ones that you need and put it in places where there should be exit signs posted.
