New year brings hope

The beginning of 2010 is a good time for those who are jobless to seek employment. Whenever a new year comes, I feel as if it brings hope to those who need it. In fact, last December, I knew already that if I apply for a job in January, I would be back to the corporate world come February. I am that confident. I am that hopeful.
But I am opting to postpone my big corporate comeback. I have important things to attend to first. And I do feel that I am not yet ready to go back. Office politics, stressful environment, egotistical bosses, backstabbing co-workers… I am still happy where I am so going back will have to take a backseat for now.
I am an accountant, a CPA. I'd been working for 10 years as a corporate rat when I decided to quit. I am now working at home as a consultant and full time blogger.
