If there are three places in the world I am fascinated enough to go to right now, it would be New York, Rome and Dubai. I have been hearing and reading a lot about Dubai. There is this popular noontime show here in the country that performed in Dubai a couple of weeks ago. I read one of the hosts’ account and it really increased my interest in the city. According to him, Dubai Hotels are really the best when it comes to facilities and the crew are mostly Filipinos. Now if I can only go and book a room at one of those hotels…
New York has always been the city I want to visit because of my friend. If ever I will go there for a visit, I will surely stay with her but then again, I might book a room in one of the New York Hotels, even for a night, to experience NYC the way a tourist does. The same goes for Rome. A friend of mine works there right now and she has been telling me all good things about the city. Oh well, one of these days, I am sure of it.

It is extremely humid here in Manila. It irritates me and makes me wish I am in one of those Caribbean villa rentals that I saw at Wimco.com a while ago. It would be a perfect day lounging at the deck with a glass of cold mango juice and a riveting novel. After you take a bath, you will notice beads of perspiration inching down your back. It’s that hot! When you go take a nap, you will find yourself soaked in sweat. It doesn’t matter that it’s hot, I just don’t like that it is also extremely humid. While typing this entry, I am perspiring a lot even though the electric fan is in full blast and facing me alone.

My sister will be going out of the country by next week. She will be going on a business trip and will be meeting her boss in person for the first time. They have been talking on the phone for a few weeks now. Her boss is French and she was interviewed via video phone. My sister is hoping that she will stay in this condo hotel that her co-workers are telling her about. A few of her co-workers went abroad to meet executives at one point in their tenure so they know the best places to stay at. For now, my sister has to follow her boss with regards to accommodation so she is really praying she’ll get to stay at the condo hotel rather than at the corporate house.

My friend Lynn is coming home in a few weeks. She is actually asking me for a New York City travel when she goes back to the Big Apple after two weeks. Makes me think… It’ll be a good travel, that’s for sure. I’ve never been to New York and Lynn is a such a fun person to be with. So I might, it will just depend on the way my budget will be come mid-August. We’ll see…

My aunt Wilma will be traveling over a period of 1 month to Hong Kong, Macau, China and Dubai. Her boss wants the two of them to meet business partners in these four countries for the recruitment agency she is employed as a general manager. Because it will take her four weeks on the trip, I told her that she should just buy a Swiss Army expandable suiter to accommodate all her clothes and accessories.
I can tell that she is excited with her trip even though this is not for pleasure. It will be her second time in Hong Kong but first time with the three other countries. Well, if given a chance to travel like that, I would surely be more excited than her.

My aunt and uncle will be going to Macau and then Las Vegas by next month. They are asking my help in booking a hotel accommodation for them. Their airfare and plane tickets are already taken cared of and the only thing left for them to search for are hotels they can stay at. My cousin who has a friend in Macau were able to get a hotel room for them already. Now I am left to look for las vegas hotels and the best one that they can afford and book a room at. It will be easy for me because there is i4Vegas.com, a place where there is a listing of the best Las Vegas hotels. Oh well, let me continue searching now…
