We had a small talked with my SIL while ago about her trip last week. She left the city at exactly six in the evening. Her two and a half air travel went smoothly. Around nine in the evening she was already sleeping on her hotel bed which has one of the most comfortable foam mattresses she ever slept on. And because of that, she over slept for 2 hours! She thought she was going to be late for her meeting with a new client. But she was just on time. The meeting progressed well. Her client had a good sense of humor which made both of them feel at ease during their conversation. They close the deal the next day. After their meeting, she went straight to the nearest town for existing client’s visitation. It was a tiring day but it didn’t matter because she slept on a very comfortable bed. She just made sure she won’t over sleep again. She is a very busy career woman and that she forgot already a time for her self. Up to this time she is still single and available. She also has no time for her hobby which is painting and lately she just rented a space in Art Storage for her paintings. I told her to settle down and she will have lots of time for her self and family.

My nephew will be celebrating his 12th birthday a few months from now. When I asked him what is his wish, he seriously looked into my eyes and told me he would think about it. So I gave him time to decide while praying in my mind he will chose a gift I can afford maybe Baseball Gloves or something that is not too expensive. After a while, it was time for me to go home, so I told him he has only until tomorrow two decide. The next day he called me up to tell me he wanted to have a summer vacation in a beach with his siblings. I almost dropped my mobile phone! But since I was the one who asked him what he wants, I have to be committed to my words. So, I told him, I will search online to find the best place for their summer break get away. After hanging up, I took my calculator to compute how much I can afford. Since its summer time I decided to be a family vacation for all of us. And so we will be spending all our summer vacation in the beach. The next coming days I will visit my friend who works in a travel agency to help me book for a family summer vacation. I do hope everyone will enjoy this summer fun.

Fresh from her college university, my cousin who was applying for a position in a Collection Agency made sure she was all ready for the scheduled interview. Because it was her first time to hunt for a job and be interviewed, she called me to seek advice. So I told her to first research about the company’s profile so that she has an idea of what the company she is applying to and second, she just need to practice answering impromptu questions while having eye contacts with the one she is talking to. To make the story short, she made it. She said that during her final interview, the big boss was so impressed with her smartness that he gave her a signing bonus! Impressive! Same with my new colleague at work she was hired immediately when our boss saw how smart she is on the interview. The interview which was a personal interaction, where the boss wants to find out how his future employees reacts to real life situations. That was one of his criteria in choosing a new employee. I find our new colleague friendly and industrious. I got the chance to talk to her during our lunch while ago. I have also learned that she is a batch mate of my cousin. I hope she will enjoy her stay with us.
