Drama in life

Filed under: Uncategorized — admin @ 1:16 am

I watched a drama series on tv while ago about the real life story of a mother. They showed how she struggles in her life situation, on how she deals with the drug rehab of her husband and she alone raise her children without her husband help. It was a sad movie but it has a happy end when her husband came home and starts a new life with the family.

Daily task

I wake up late this morning. I immediately took my breakfast as I was watching the late morning news. After breakfast I prepared myself for my day grocery. I listed all the things that I will buy and then as I was ready to go the phone rang. I saw a name in the caller ID. I immediately picked up the phone and it was hubby’s colleague who was on leave. He can’t contact hubby at work and he decided to call here at home. He wanted to asked hubby about selling endowment policies. I told him that I will just call hubby on his cell phone so he can call him back. So before I went out I called hubby on his cell to inform him about his colleague. I told him also that I was going downtown so what can I bring him. He told me the usual thing to buy him his favorite computer magazine and saving cream. He also pleaded me to drop his letter to his doctor at the post office. And so I proceeded first at the postal office and there I arrived with a long line of customers. Good thing the other employees came and open the other window booths. The transaction went faster and I finished my task in just a minute. After that I went on with my grocery list and bought what is written and not written in there hahaha…

The party

My brother in law hosted a barbeque party yesterday. It’s a thanksgiving lunch for the his promotion in his Marketing Company. There were only few of us who were there, gathered at their backyard. Some were also her wife’s officemates. He prepared grilled meat, sausages, chicken, beef, fish and some veggies. As we were eating and telling stories at the same time, Patty, their big dog, while running around, bumped the still hot grill. The three and a half feet tall grill fell over her making feel the heat of the grill on her fur. She was making hurt sounds when we noticed the accident. To my officemate’s surprised, he went to help the dog immediately. He grab the pot holders and let the dog off from the grill that fell down on her. The dog run away still hurting. My sister in law followed the dog to check on her. She discovered that the dog had burnt injuries all over her back. So, immediately my brother in law took the dog to the vet for first aid. We continued our lunch though feeling sad about the dog’s accident. Not that long, my brother in law came back with patty. Thank God her injuries were just minor ones. She needs to rest and to take medication for a week poor patty.

Making it easy

Last month, I visited a friend of ours who was busy preparing for their big move. I also offered her some help in packing up their things. Moving to a new home or apartment is a stressful one. But my friend was relaxed and still can laugh with all of those chaos. They were assisted by the great services of Boston Moving Company. Before their big move we also helped them organized a garage sale for all their old things.

Just in today, she phoned me while ago inviting us to join them on their housewarming next week. I volunteered to make desserts for the party. The second hand house was bought from the new real estate company in town . The house is 1,743 sq. ft. in a 200 sq. m. lot. with 3 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms. In front of the house is a front porch overlooking a pond in the garden. It has also a garage, a large kitchen, carpeted floors, laundry rooms and skylights. What I love most about their house its just located 20 minutes to a lake, a shopping center near by and a 24 hour security. What a superb choice with an attractive down payment plan and financing. Who will not grab this chance.

Another day

I was happy that I got my off early yesterday. I dropped at the grocery store because I plan to cook the dinner that night. To be different not the usual to go or delivery service. I bought for some salad, for pasta, baguette and fresh oranges. I was about to go to the counter to pay, I remember to buy my weekly magazine. Near the magazines stand are the electronic shop and they were many people looking on the tv screens. I thought there was a sale or they just looking on a live football games. I got curious and look in there, I was shock with the news on tv about the earthquake in China. It’s not a long day that another calamity in Myanmar. I just whispered my prayer for them and proceeded to the counter. Upon arriving home I immediately cook our dinner and when hubby got home. The table was ready. After the dinner hubby made the dishwashing and I prepared myself for bedtime. Hubby was surprised since I go to bed early and he told me that there was a good movie on tv. So after my shower and already in my pajamas I laid in the couch. Waiting for the movie I watched the reportage on gun safes and then switched to other programs. When the movie about to start hubby came to join me bringing with him a freshly made cup of hot pepper mint tea. The tea was so refreshing that kept me relax while watching the whole film. After the movie I went immediately to bed for tomorrow is another day to live for.
