Drama in life

I watched a drama series on tv while ago about the real life story of a mother. They showed how she struggles in her life situation, on how she deals with the drug rehab of her husband and she alone raise her children without her husband help. It was a sad movie but it has a happy end when her husband came home and starts a new life with the family.

Daily task

I wake up late this morning. I immediately took my breakfast as I was watching the late morning news. After breakfast I prepared myself for my day grocery. I listed all the things that I will buy and then as I was ready to go the phone rang. I saw a name in the caller ID. I immediately picked up the phone and it was hubby’s colleague who was on leave. He can’t contact hubby at work and he decided to call here at home. He wanted to asked hubby about selling endowment policies. I told him that I will just call hubby on his cell phone so he can call him back. So before I went out I called hubby on his cell to inform him about his colleague. I told him also that I was going downtown so what can I bring him. He told me the usual thing to buy him his favorite computer magazine and saving cream. He also pleaded me to drop his letter to his doctor at the post office. And so I proceeded first at the postal office and there I arrived with a long line of customers. Good thing the other employees came and open the other window booths. The transaction went faster and I finished my task in just a minute. After that I went on with my grocery list and bought what is written and not written in there hahaha…

The party

My brother in law hosted a barbeque party yesterday. It’s a thanksgiving lunch for the his promotion in his Marketing Company. There were only few of us who were there, gathered at their backyard. Some were also her wife’s officemates. He prepared grilled meat, sausages, chicken, beef, fish and some veggies. As we were eating and telling stories at the same time, Patty, their big dog, while running around, bumped the still hot grill. The three and a half feet tall grill fell over her making feel the heat of the grill on her fur. She was making hurt sounds when we noticed the accident. To my officemate’s surprised, he went to help the dog immediately. He grab the pot holders and let the dog off from the grill that fell down on her. The dog run away still hurting. My sister in law followed the dog to check on her. She discovered that the dog had burnt injuries all over her back. So, immediately my brother in law took the dog to the vet for first aid. We continued our lunch though feeling sad about the dog’s accident. Not that long, my brother in law came back with patty. Thank God her injuries were just minor ones. She needs to rest and to take medication for a week poor patty.
