Thursday 13 #2: 13 Things I am hoping to get for my birthday
Thirteen Things I am hoping to get for my birthday1. A laptop! Wishful thinking… but you know you can never discount the possibility of a charitable act from someone. Or a windfall.2. A new cellphone. Been using my Smartphone for almost 4 years now if I’m not mistaken. It served as my phone, ebook reader, dictionary, mp3 player, mpeg player, notepad, etc. I think it’s high time for my phone to ‘retire’ and enjoy its remaining life.
3. Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows. Was not able to reserve one. I wish my sister will give me this book hehe
4. Books, books and more books. Basta no sci-fi for me. Had enough of it already. I’m into mystery-thriller, those Oprah book club selections, and many more. If in doubt, ask me 
5. A Nissan Frontier. Or a Ford Everest. I know, not the cars a girl would typically ask for. But I don’t like the small cars kasi. It can be crushed easily by a big car when a collision happens. I wonder what this says about my psychological being.
6. A trip to somewhere I’ve never been to. I am seriously thinking of going to Vigan. Or Bohol. The week after my birthday I’ll be going to Baguio again with my bestfriend Lem. 3 days yey! I do hope it won’t rain on those days.
7. A trip to Bangkok or Malaysia or Singapore. All expense paid trip!
8. A tourist visa for a trip to Japan. I think I am a Japanese in my previous life, if you really believe that. I love that country! It’s been a dream of mine to tour the whole country. Very costly though. I don’t have that kind of money yet. Soon…
9. A week off from work. Hahaha I know THIS is wishful thinking. I’ll settle for 1 day instead. I will avail of my time off in lieu, so I can wake up late on my birthday and spend the morning not rushing to work.
10. A simple “happy birthday” from him. I do hope he remembers. Same goes to my friends. I really wish they’d remember. A call, a text message, an email… I get teary-eyed and all emotional when I get a message from a friend on my birthday. Don’t forget to greet me will yah?
11. A pillow, a big huggable stuff toy, anything shaped as slippers, cute little things that will add to my clutter at home hahaha
12. A worry-free, laughter-filled, truly happy blessed day.
13. Good health and more wealth
I know my friends will read this. I am shameless! Oh and you know what? A liposuction in Beverly Hills sounds like a lovely gift as well! Hahaha…
And by the way, my birthday will be by next next Friday

What do you consider to be the ultimate snack food?
- Pancit canton! I love it! I know it’s carbo and all but I don’t care. I love it! You can find a recipe here on how to cook one

- I’d have to say a 10. My last name is a very common surname here in the Philippines. This is how common my surname is… when I took the board examinations for Certified Public Accountants in October 1999, there were 6 classrooms with the same surname as mine!Salad:
Who is your all-time favorite sitcom character, and why?
- It would probably be Phoebe of FRIENDS. I like how simple her life is and how she takes things in stride.

Do you shop online? If so, name some sites you like to browse for goodies.
- I don’t really shop online. But when I do check for some things, like check out shop branches, locations and the like, I go to Click the City. For goodies, the ever reliable Amazon.com. But those are just for items I ask my friend to buy for me.

- I think this site should be updated for than twice a week. I have been too busy these past few days but I have a lot to tell you guys. I will try to write it this weekend and just schedule posting it.

Thirteen Things I AM CURRENTLY DREAMING ABOUT
1. Pistachio-chocolate flavored shake. Yum!
2. Spinach Lasagna of my ex-boyfriend’s mom… Mama, I want a piece of that lasagna
3. That book by Mitch Albom… For One More Day. National Bookstore does not have a stock of the paperback version yet.
4. A Motorola RAZR V3m red! Eventhough most of you would think it’s kinda old already what with the latest gadgets coming out, I still want that one.
5. Laptop!!!
6. A relaxing 3-hour spa… I think I will get a massage tomorrow
7. Go to the beach. I’ve yet to go to one.
8. Visit Bohol. I have yet to go to this beautiful place.
9. Explore Asia…
10. Particularly… Go to Japan! I want to go see those temples, cherry blossoms, kampaii with ate Ghee in Tokyo (yipee!) and go see the geisha places.
11. Go nature tripping.
12. Be carefree even for a day! No worries, no obligations… that would be helluva fun!
13. Not be an accountant anymore. So I can blog and write all I want all the time! HahahaThis is my first Thursday Thirteen post. Happy TT everyone!

- Yes, because I stay up late on Friday nights, actually until around 4am Saturday morning. I normally go out or stay up late in front of the computer doing various things at the same time. Hehe

- I am a forgetful person. Hehe… That’s why I have a pen and notepad with me all the time The worst situation I’ve been into that I forgot something was when I forgot where I put all my important documents. Good thing my sister remembered where I put it hehehe
