Another blast!

Wednesday, November 14th, 2007

An explosion happened in one of the wings of the Batasan Pambansa Complex this evening. A couple of congressmen and their staff are injured. When I watched the News Central a while ago, they said that one of the injured congressmen died.

What is happening? It seems that bombing is happening everywhere these days.

Let’s all pray that this evil menace in the country stops.

Be safe everyone.

College sports

Tuesday, October 23rd, 2007

College life is fun! Imagine being at school but enjoying life with less control from the parents… sweet! And one of the most fun activities in college is watching college sports. I think a lot of women out there will agree with me.

College basketball is one of my favorites. And of course, college football as well!

If you are a fan, too, and is rooting for the The University of Michigan Wolverines, better check out VividSeats.com now. They are offering Michigan Wolverines tickets. Go check it out now!

The Glorietta incident

Sunday, October 21st, 2007

Friday morning I was not feeling well. Nahihilo and masakit ang sikmura. I opted to go home around lunch time because I want to go to sleep. Nung nasa baba na ako ng building namin, naisip kong dumaan muna sa Glorietta para maglakad-lakad muna at baka sakaling mawala yung kakaibang nararamdaman ko. So I asked the taxi driver to take me to Glorietta. But when we’re already in Paseo de Roxas, I changed my mind.

And thank God I did. Had I not changed my mind, I would be in Glorietta as well when the bombing of Glorietta 2 happened.

I just woke up around 4pm Friday when I heard the news from my family. Believe me, ganon pala ang pakiramdam ng tunay na relief, nakakapanlambot.

We watched the news and it was really sad to see what some evil people can do. 9 confirmed dead and so many injured. Di man lang inisip nung gumawa na kung government ang target niya kapuwa naman niya civilian ang naperwisyo niya!

Let’s all pray for the victims of this Glorietta bombing. Let’s also pray that this won’t happen again.

When you go camping…

Wednesday, September 12th, 2007

When you go camping, there are things that you bring that need to be recharged after a few hours of use, like a flashlight or a satellite phone or radio. Normally, you bring extra batteries with you just in case this happens, right? But bringing a lot of batteries will add extra weight to your carry-alls. How do you want a device, lighter than batteries but functions more usefully that it?

The Brunton Solarroll 9 flexible solar module is a device that is very useful for charging electronic devices in places not on the electrical grid. The system is much lighter than carrying extra batteries. Now isn’t that great?

The Brunton Solarroll 9 got really good reviews from major magazines and newspapers. This is because the SolarRoll is really a great equipment to bring along wherever you go. It is waterproof so you can bring SolarRoll if you want to go do some water activities and take pictures, no need to worry about draining batteries. You can even go hiking and bring SolarRoll with you for recharging batteries and all.

So if you are thinking of going camping, or even going to remote places where recharging is impossible, remember your Camping Equipment and to bring with you the Brunton SolarRoll 9. Use your digital cameras all you want. Do not worry that you can’t capture everything on your video cam. Just bring with you a SolarRoll and off you go.

High and mighty

Monday, September 10th, 2007

I got so entertained by the issues I was unaware of that happened I think a month ago. Hahahaah… I was laughing while reading their posts. Kasi naman some bloggers are so high and mighty that they think theirs is the only rule to follow. Ayan tuloy… Naaliw talaga ako!

Hay… some bloggers talaga. Blogging should be fun, right? Kaya nga some opted to start a blog because they want a stress free environment. Tapos may stress pa rin pala dito hahaha… Live and let live. If some bloggers want to write about their underwear or their next-door neighbor’s doorknob, so be it. Don’t visit their sites if you don’t want their blog’s content or have anything against their blogs or against how they market their blogs. If some bloggers have opted to join the money-making bandwagon (guilty!), don’t criticize. Again, live and let live. If you can’t stand the liberal amount of sponsored posts in a blog, don’t visit anymore. Eh ano ba pakialam ng iba if you want to write about rhinoplasty all the time? Rhinoplasty and breast augmentation pay in dollars! If we mind those criticisms, it won’t even get us a candy.

I have a question, by the way… who really dictates what is good content anyway? Di ba your readers and not the high and mighty group of pinoy bloggers who think they know best? Hahahah… pati tuloy ako nadamay na sa ranting about these people.

Okay enough. Nadala lang ako sa mga nabasa ko kasi. I still have one more question sana but they might think I just want to be controversial and all. But I am sure a lot of you guys think of this as well…

Want to know what I really want to ask ever since I became aware of the existence of that thing???

Live and let live. The blogosphere/blogworld does not revolve around you people.
