For the kids

Last Saturday was the celebration of my MIL’s birthday. This is really a family affair where all of us are present. My hubby’s family is big so when every member meet it is a big affair. The highlights of the occasion is the new renovated garden of my inlaws. They made a mini play ground for their grandchildren like doll house, tree house and swing sets with slide. Im sure the children will always love to visit their grandparents with the new attraction in their house.

Hoping for a better year

Part of our year end cleaning in the house is to sum up our household book which means to review what are the things we spend a lot of and the things we made some savings. Last year we had much bills on telephone and so this year we are availing the cheapest phone line in town. What we had save a lot are on medical insurance, and travel insurance. It really help us and really worth it. This year we need to do a little more and intelligent budgeting and spending since we plan to move to a new house of our own. Hope we can since life now a days is getting more and more difficult.

Busy day as usual

Yesterday I went to the grocery market early to avoid the morning rush. WhenI arrived there there are already many people. I proceeded immidiately in the vegetable and fruit section to avail the fresh one. As I made my rounds on the fruit stands, I stepped out a hard thing and I found a gold bangle. I went to the lost and found section of the supermarket and they announce through micropone the lost item. A few minutes an old lady came and claim the bangle. To verify she is the owner they asked her ID and describe the bangle how it look like. After proving that everything she said was true, they gave her bangle. She thanked and invited me for a coffee drink but I told her Im on a hurry. I immediately paid the grocery items and went home as fast I could so I can prepare hubby’s lunch before I went to my work.

Kids now a days

Early this year, I got a promoti0n in my existing employment. I’m not the typical office girl anymore. With my new job position, I get to travel a lot, dealing with new clients and visiting our existing clients to cater to their needs. 0ne time, my five year old nephew asked me if he could join me in my trips because he wanted to ride on an airplane. Aside from informing me that I can not attend to his needs if he’ll go with me because I’ll be very busy, I gave him an alibi that kids under 7 years of age are not allowed to travel with out their parents. But he told me his mom is very busy nowadays. With his desire to ride on planes, he innocently asked me if he can hide in my luggage so that we will not b questioned at the airport. I wanted to laugh but I didn’t want him to feel bad. So I told him to ask his mom, when she’ll not be busy, so that they can go with me in my next trip. He gladly said yes and went straight to convince his mom.
