Paypal exchange rate
Just as I had expected, the exchange rate in Paypal today is:
Exchange rate: 1 U.S. Dollar = 45.8580 Philippine Pesos
When I checked the other day, the peso rate was somewhere around 44+. Wow!
If you are thinking of making a withdrawal, now is a good time to do so. It just might be a peso difference but if you are withdrawing money you worked hard for, that is still something. Of course, this topic applies to Paypal Philippines only
US-Peso exchange rate
The exchange rate closed at Php46.95 : $1 today. Hooray for us bloggers who are earning on the side! I was watching the evening news today when I saw it. I know that I should not feel too happy about it because that would mean our economy is slipping. Again. But then, last year, the peso was down and life was so much better for many Filipinos.
Anyway, I will try and withdraw my Paypal money later. I might be getting a good rate today
Database backup
My next post will be about how to do a database backup. For someone who has been in a situation wherein I felt helpless when I lost all my posts, this is now a must. Last weekend, I thought I’d go crazy when my other blog lost all its posts. The technical support guy of my web host can’t tell me anything at first. When I got angry already, he told me that he doesn’t really know anything right then except that they are having issues with their database. I panicked because I wrote at least 30 sps 3 days prior to that incident so there’s no way I can write it all again.
Anyway, after about 30 minutes of senseless chat with the tech guy, he cut me off and I just had to wait almost an hour and the posts were back. Well, now database backup is a must for me. I will write a lengthy post about it later.

Knick knacks
A house becomes a home through the little knick knacks in it. Photos, little mementos… Our house is full of these little things. My dad loves displaying our photos. We have these custom picture frames where he put all our graduation photos. A way to brag about us to visitors, I am sure of it
He is proud of his children who graduated already. When you are in our living room, you will immediately notice that.
Widget for bloggers
Before you start buying your office supplies, do an office supplies cross reference first. You might be buying a higher priced brand. The same item but from another brand might be selling it at a lower price. You do not want to miss out on that, right?
A purchaser in an office should always make sure that he or she does a cross reference of items such as printer supplies and check out which brand offers a more competitive price. It can really be tedious at times but this is the best way to be able to save from your purchases. But wait! Interested buyers in turn can do a printer supplies cross reference and in buying an item, he or she will be redirected to Amazon’s marketplace. The blogger who displayed the widget where the buyer clicked on will get a commission if the sale pushes through!
Answerco’s widget can promote thousands of printer and office products. Buyers, cross reference always. Bloggers, come on and let’s apply for this newest way to earn while blogging. Visit Answerco.com now for more information.
In my thinking zone…
The thinking cap is on. Can you hear my brain churning? I’ve been racking my brain for a number of days regarding this blog. I am in a dilemma of sorts because of overlapping topics and all. You probably can’t understand me right now but suffice it to say that I will be back on Monday with something new. Hopefully, that will give me a bit more moolah and droves of traffic.
Happy weekend everyone!
