Taking up Nursing

I learned that my cousin, DJ, who’s the same age as my youngest sibling, James, will be taking up Nursing. He is quite excited about it, been telling almost all of us about his decision. I admire his bravery. I once thought of being a medical student but then I realized I don’t like the sight of too much blood and the smell of open wounds and all. And touching it while doing an examination… Of course there exam gloves that one can use when doing all those examinations but still.
Well, Nursing will be good for DJ. He will be the first medical person in the family. We will support him anyway we can.
I am an accountant, a CPA. I'd been working for 10 years as a corporate rat when I decided to quit. I am now working at home as a consultant and full time blogger.

My eldest daughter is going to university in September to start her nursing training. Good luck to them both!

i guess it really is true that nursing is more that just a course. it really does need dedication. im taking up nursing now, on my 3rd year. im not saying that i am dedicated. ive encountered numerous circumstances where im almost about to give up kasi “kadiri,” haha. but i eventually get over it.
