You look for the emergency lights! You know how if there’s an emergency, the whole building’s power supply is commonly cut off until the situation is under control. When the power supply is cut off, the whole building is down with nothing but the emergency lights on. I have experienced this when I was in a building that caught fire. It was a building where the company I was working for was located. The second floor of the building was ablaze so the building administration had to cut the electricity of the whole place.
