Copy cats

In the past, when you are in a province, you could tell right away who’s from the city by the urban clothes that city people wore. You could rely on that fact. These days, every one wears the same things. Whatever is in will be the most common attire you can see in the streets. I see this in most of the kids of this generation. They tend to copy that their celebrity idols are wearing. Even the people from the province. It was sad because even those inappropriate for their ages kids will wear because they’ve seen it on their celebrity idol.

Last week, there was a fuss regarding the attire Lady Gaga wore on the widely watched American Idol. She wore only an underwear-like attire that had a fishnet over it. Of course, the parents watching the show with their kids reacted! Kids are impressionable and they would copy popular celebrities in an instant. I do think that the concerned parents reacted much the same way I would react if I had a child and she saw Lady Gaga wearing only that questionable attire!
