Missing the school days
By Sasha on May 14, 2010 in Brain wave
I went to my alma mater this morning to accompany our little girl who took her entrance examinations. I was overcome with a wave of nostalgia upon entering the campus. It was a little bit the same but with a few touches of changes here and there. I saw some of my old teachers still working there. I even saw my favorite class adviser who seemed to me didn’t age a bit! I miss going to school. I miss the environment, the teachers, the easy life. I don’t miss the exams, the tons of textbooks, the anticipation to see the grades. I just miss the easy life where you need not worry about money or anything.
Of course, when I was in college already, I was so excited to go to work. But then a year after, I was wishing I didn’t fast track my way to graduation that much.
