Ongoing road repairs

There are so many ongoing road repairs causing traffic jams in major roads in the metro. I don’t know if the people behind these repairs know what scheduling is but they should know better, right?

Why not schedule road repairs on summer months? That way work will be faster for those involved unlike now when there are typhoons going in and out of the country. Or like what I’ve seen and read about/heard of in other countries where road repairs are done during the night when there are less people on the road so there’s less distraction to workers.

What I’m getting at here is that they can schedule the road repairs so much better so that there will be less traffic jams like what’s happening now. Have you been to Quezon Avenue lately? Well, let me tell you what the roads are like in Quezon Avenue… uneven, in dire need of asphalt, too many potholes! The portions being repaired don’t have workers doing their work!

Something should be done so that materials used on our roads should be of the best quality and not like the ones being used now, needing repairs and maintenance every year. And the scheduling… please, local government units, do something about it!
