Expand through small business loans

The business has been in existence for the past six years now. It’s a small business dealing with office supplies. Its clients include schools, offices, clinics and other small businesses around town. The owner now wants to expand his business to include not only office supplies but office equipment as well. The owner is leaning towards applying for small business loans to finance his expansion.
I know for a fact that most small business owners are gearing towards expanding their businesses to compete with the big league. A business loan is one way for them to expand what they have to offer.
