2009 is here!!!
Happy Holidays!
I kick ass! Thank you very much!
Tita Liza gave me this Kick Ass award. Thanks so much, tita!

Do you know any bloggers that kick ass?
Maybe they’ve got incredible, original content. Or they’re overflowing with creativity. Is it someone that helps you become a better blogger? Or a bloggy friend you know you can count on? Or maybe it’s someone who simply inspires you to be a better person… or someone else who sends you to the floor, laughing your ass off.
Whatever the reason may be, I’m sure you know at least a couple of bloggers that kick ass. Well… why not tell ‘em so?

How Is Your Inner Child?
Your Inner Child Is Surprised |
![]() You see many things through the eyes of a child. Meaning, you’re rarely cynical or jaded. You cherish all of the details in life. Easily fascinated, you enjoy experiencing new things. |
I have always thought that I am a child trapped inside an adult’s body. Maybe because I can see so many things in the eyes of a child. No, I am far from being innocent and pure like a child. But I can appreciate little things that an adult normally ignores or neglects. I can relate well with one.
But I also have other hang-ups that I need to deal with. Things like seeing death when I was not a child anymore but not yet an adult. Too much responsibilities on my shoulder when I was still enjoying my childhood. And so on.
How Is Your Inner Child?
Are You Impulsive?
Let me answer that first in my own words before you see what my score is from Blog things. Yes, I am impulsive. But it depends. I impulsively buy stuff that I don’t need at times. Like dozens of books that I can’t really read all at the same time. There are even books I bought a year ago that are still on my pile of to-read-books. I buy home stuff like pillows, glasses, plates, home accessories… stuff like that even if we don’t really need it yet. That is as far as my impulsiveness would go.
With the crazy stuff… being reckless enough that it seems I am throwing my life away… Nah. That I am not.
Now here’s the result of my Blog things test on impulsiveness…
You Are 56% Impulsive |
![]() You’re quite impulsive, but you never are reckless. You qualify as a very spontaneous person, but you still know how to honor your commitments. And while responsibility doesn’t come easy to you, having fun does! |
Are You Impulsive?

Thank you to my new blogger-friends who have given me a start of the year awards…
Blog Award Part 1
My dear sis Rebecca of Skippy Heart and my dearest kuya Dom Lawrence gave me this award:
You’ve got a friend in me
Thank you, sis! This means a lot to me! I treasure friendships made with real people, be it online or offline, and I just know I found a friend in you.
I am passing on this award to the following people:
Maiylah > for being a kindred spirit. I can so relate to your being a “zombie” hehehe… and for being sweet and caring.
Pam > for being a sweet person who always visits me here even though I cannot return the favor most of the time.
Joni > for easily saying yes when I asked for a link exchange. Naku there are a lot of really great bloggers like this girl who can be snobs. I can name a few pero wag na lang… Joni, on the other hand, is a popular blogger who creates beautiful themes that is NOT a snob at all!
tita Liza > a new blogger friend who also visits a lot and writes great posts.
ate Vicky > for always visiting and catching up with missed posts kahit minsan sponsored sige pa rin siya at may comment hehe… I love ate VK talaga!
Xixi > a new found friend, a single mom who struggled with a lot of things in her life but still coping up and keeping the faith.
WS of Weekend Snapshots > for being a really great meme host!
These bloggers are all new found friends (not so new for some hehe) and I really would like to tell them that they have a friend in me.
*For the other awards, I will post it after this one… there will be a few more
Have a happy day everyone!
Desktop Free View
I got this tag from Kuya/Dom Lawrence, OSB.
Here is a screenshot of my desktop here in the office…
As you can see, it is no fun at all. I want my desktop clean and as much as possible, I limit icons on it. Ewan ko ba. I can’t work with so much clutter around. I normally dump in the garbage things that are on my desk that are not really mine (but were left on it because mine is the clutter-free desk in the area… grrr). I also tell my siblings to make sure their files are saved in their own folder otherwise I will delete it. Evil sister heheheh…
So now I am tagging only 3 people… Maiylah, Mousey and Angie
[TAG STARTS HERE]
My Desktop Free View Instruction:
A. Upon receiving this tag, immediately perform a screen capture of your desktop. It is best that no icons be deleted before the screen capture so as to add to the element of fun.
You can do a screen capture by:
[1] Going to your desktop and pressing the Print Scrn key (located on the right side of the F12 key).
[2] Open a graphics program (like Picture Manager, Paint, or Photoshop) and do a Paste (CTRL + V).
[3] If you wish, you can “edit” the image, before saving it.
B. Post the picture in your blog. You can also give a short explanation on the look of your desktop just below it if you want. You can explain why you preferred such look or why is it full of icons. Things like that.
C. Tag five of your friends and ask them to give you a Free View of their desktop as well.
D. Add your name to this list of Free Viewers with a link pointing directly to your Desktop Free View post to promote it to succeeding participants.
List of those who participated in the tag:
