A relaxing activity

When I was still enrolled at a gym somewhere in the metropolis I was thinking of enrolling in a yoga class. My work as an accounting head of a call center company entails a lot of work and tight schedules. I need to meet a lot of report deadlines both here and abroad. I report to 3 bosses and lead a group of 4. All these mean tons of stress for me. So I thought yoga would be a very good relaxing activity for me. And I know it will be. Alas, I had to stop going to the gym for the same reason I needed a relaxing activity… tons of work to do!

A co-worker told me her secret on time management. Instead of enrolling to a gym to go into a yoga class, she bought 2 DVDs about yoga. From there she follows whatever instructions are given out on the video. She also reads a lot about it. So the transportation time is cut off. Transportation eats a lot of my time so this is something that will fit my schedule. She told me that she does her yoga during the morning, before preparing for work. I might do it the same way.

What with year-end inventory, closing of books, tax registrations and the start of audit season, a relaxing activity before or after working hours is something that I really need.
