And I must admit that I am one of them. The state of our economy now is a far cry from the economy of years ago. I fear that one day I will wake up with no job like others hit by countless recessions that happened. Scary times indeed.
A friend of mine, being the practical person that she is, are already getting more jobs than she can handle. Aside from her 8-4 daily job, she also took on consultancies with two companies and have opened an online shop she tends to during weekends. She has three kids so I can understand her need to save money and secure it for her kids’ future. She is also a single mom so unlike most married couples, she has to double her efforts to make ends meet for the four of them. I actually admire her and look up to her when it comes to handling finances.
