We attended last Friday night the nineteen birthday of my niece. The whole family was there and it was only intended as a family affair. With her friends she celebrated it on a separate day. I did not thought any material gift just a gift certificate at horse riding apparel shop. Since she is into horse riding that would be a great gift to her. She started this hobby of her since she was eight years old. She sometimes perform in games. This time she works as a trainer for the little ones as beginners. The dinner party for the whole family was great and the foods are also delicious including the desserts. I also meet her father’s side relatives and they were all nice and friendly. The dinner ended with her tank you speech and giving away some personalized thank you card.

Everyday I prepared vegetable dishes for my vegetarian hub. So in terms of cooking I prepared always two dishes. Sometimes I need more time just doing this. But most of the time all his food are easy to prepare like salads or blanched veggies. Sometimes I experiment instead of meat as the ingredients I substituted it with tuna. There are also ready to eat veggie products in the market or in the reform house that provide nutritional supplements. H started to become vegetarian when he was still a kid. I also see to it that he has a complete intake of the vitamins and minerals since he only eat veggies. And one meat alternative are soya products which I like too.

We were discussing this early morning on breakfast what are the Christmas gifts we will going to give. I suggested its better to give money, no more stress in buying and choosing the perfect one. Hub suggested to stick on the interest of the receiver like hobbies or sport. So then FIL is into golf so we can give him golf equipments like club, ball, shaft, cart, tees or golf shoes. Anyway, the main thing is a gift is freely given and comes from the heart.

Last weekend we went on discount hunting on a construction shop which have twenty percent sale on all their products. When we arrive there, the shop was already full of customers taking the on sale chance. Hub went around to look what he can buy and I went to the garden shop. I bought indoor plants and some Christmas decorations. I want to buy also a Christmas tree planted on pot but its too early. Hub bought screw drivers, toolbox kit, fiber cable, bulbs, garage cleaner and paints. We ended up paying a few bucks, what a saving it is. And so we went to our favorite restaurant to dine for our lunch with that extra money we have saved.
