According to Wikipedia,
Mediation, in a broad sense, consists of a cognitive process of reconciling mutually interdependent, opposed terms as what one could loosely call “an interpretation” or “an understanding of”. The German philosopher Hegel uses the term ‘dialectical unity’ to designate such thought-processes. This article discusses the legal communications usage of the term. Other Wikipedia articles, such as Critical Theory, treat other usages or “senses” of the term mediation, as for example cultural and biological.
I think my friend’s boss and Mr. Park, a Korean boss from another company, needs a binding mediation to reconcile their differences and to make their company a productive one. I frequently drop by in their office and notice the tension between my friend and his boss. I already saw him in fits of anger and about to explode while talking to the other boss on the phone. I’m tired of hearing my friend whine over his boss so probably, I’ll tell her to recommend Mr. Park and his boss in a conflict resolution and mediation in San Diego (which I researched for) for a settlement. If they don’t do it in the future, his employees would be pitiful as they are affected by their boss’s actions, and one by one they would leave his company.
