It was a 3-day sale here in Makati and tonight was the last day. We went there this evening and window shopped on all the items that we could think of - clothes especially for summer outfit, gadgets, prescription glasses, and so much more. Beforehand, I told him that I won’t be spending even though today is the payday. I plan to save my money for my future but I broke that promise tonight. I couldn’t resist the pair of shades I saw. It has a red tint plus it has free cheap eyeglasses with black frame which will surely look good on my cousin. The shades I’m talking about is cheap, too, but it looks elegant. I swear. Aside from that, I bought 2 pairs of shorts for beach just in case we’ll go swimming in Pampanga this holy week. And lastly, I spent my remaining money for food. I’m such a healthy eater. And that’s a short story on where my money went.

When I was still in school, I remember some of my classmates who are into branded clothes, bags, and many other things. In our terms, we call it “uso” or the “in style” in fashion. Anyway, back in school then there are fashionistas and whenever there is an event, you’d see them well-dressed from head to toe. Well, those are old memories… but now that I am working, I get to buy the things I want for myself may it be clothes, perfume, shoes, bags, and so much more. Sometimes I’d even ask a friend from US to buy some things for me. And I heard that recently he has some Macys coupons with him so I’d better check out some things over the net. Maybe some new boardshorts for this summer will be good.

A good friend of mine has started to invest his money through franchising a month ago. And if I’m not mistaken, the money he used to invest was 3/4 of his lifetime savings. He was actually scared but in business you really have to take risks or else you won’t succeed. And guess what, his first business is in line with men’s clothing, women’s and kids clothing, and all of them are designer clothes. He purchases wholesale clothes so it would be cheaper than the regular price and sell them to the consumers. Being in the clothing line is good because aside from the fact that you’d be updated with the latest fashion trends, you get to be stylish, too. My best friend sent me at last her Christmas pictures. I super envy her because she celebrated a white Christmas last December. Well, she knows how I love to experience snow and it is one of my goal in the near future. Anyway, what really stand out in the pictures are her outfit. She really looks fashionable - from her coat until her boots. And speaking of boots, she told me she bought it online last October. It is actually an Emu Australia edition, one with funky designs on it. Cool, right?

Most people will agree when I say that women loves to shop - whether it’s major shopping spree or just plainly window shopping. It is in our nature that we love to walk around the malls, look for items and girly stuffs, try on some outfits, and the likes. But since e-shop is common nowadays, some people would prefer to shop and buy online. This is mostly done by busy bodies who do not have time to shop in the malls.

So if you’re busy as a bee, or if you’re too tired to get up and go to the mall, then I strongly suggest that you visit the online shops over the web. Since it’s already October and starting to get cold outside (especially at night) you might do your Christmas wishlist or better yet start making the long list of gifts for your ‘inaanak’ (godchildren). I know some people who loves designer clothes! Just like my Aunt Edith, she lived in the States for a decade and I tell you, she dresses so well even if she’s in her thirties already. I love her fashionable look and whatever she puts on, she will surely look sophisticated and elegant. She brought some of her clothes the last time she visited Manila and I like her Vince sweaters so much! I asked for it and she gave it to me on some conditions though. She even had a pair of Paige jeans that emphasized her slim legs. Well, I didn’t ask for it because she is size 28 and I’m 26. Anyway, since Christmas is near I am planning to buy my boyfriend a new Diesel jacket as my holiday present for him. I saw it actually in a boutique last week. I’d better surprise him.

So anyway, it’s up to you on how you’d want to shop. Online shopping is more convenient because with just a few clicks on your mouse, you can buy any item you’d wish. Shopping at the malls, on the other hand, allows you to fit the clothes and check out if it looks good on you. So there.
