PC and printing.
Dad bought us a brand new desktop computer last March 2001. I was very excited then because that time was the year when I graduated from high school, and I was really planning then to take up a computer course. And since that it was a summer break, I made use of the time - I played games, listened to music, chatted until the wee hours of the morning - and when I entered the new chapter in my life which is the college life (I took computer engineering course) I was really happy because I was able to maximize my computer! I did my assignments, used AutoCAD, made programs, printed lots of documented projects.
And speaking of printing, I remember that I ran out of printer ink one time and so I have to buy a new one. It was really expensive! Our printer was HP deskjet and the black cartridge (like HP C6656) and colored cartridge costs more than 1000php each. I wasn’t even familiar with refillable ink cartridges then. Oh and I remember I even sold some empty HP ink cartridges for 10php each. It was costly because some of my projects require a lot of printing - A LOT really. Well, I’m glad those days are over now. And we could print (secretly) in the office.
