Tattoos..
Among the world’s most common beliefs, opinions on religions and tattoos vary widely. People who put religious tattoos or have it printed on their body chose to interpret some Biblical passages from their Bible. Sometimes, they want to show their religious belief through an ink in their body. But Buddhist allows this. As you can notice, most of their monks have their tattoos on their body because for them, it serves as an amulet to keep them safe and strong in time of crisis. In Islam, this is forbidden actually. For them, it is a sign of disrespect to their religion so it is banned.
For me, getting this is a personal decision which could include the influence of our religion. Some have rules and others forbid them. Even within a single religion, different people may have different ideas about what is allowed. It depends both on tradition and on interpretation of holy books.
