It’s the thought that counts…
There are people I know that scoff at the idea of greeting cards. She says that it is an additional junk inside the house and would have love to receive anything other than a greeting card. Personally, I love receiving greeting cards. Holiday Cards are given by friends and relatives every year come December until early January. And I must admit that it gives me a thrill when I receive one.
You see for me, it’s the thought that counts. It makes a big difference when you receive a holiday card, a letter, a note inserted in something given to you… anything handwritten or well-thought of. Something that will make you realize the person who sent it reserved valuable time and energy thinking and finding that something he or she sent you. For me, I value that card or note more than the actual gift given.
My friends know this. That’s why when they give me something, they always insert a note in it. I remember how happy it made me when my friend Lynn sent over a Bible from New York. The Bible has some notes at the front and back flap of it. Personalized. I treasure it.
So what say you, give out personalized/customized holiday cards this coming Christmas? I say, go for it! Believe me, it makes a world of difference. And VistaPrint.com knows it. They are offering unique custom holiday cards for your friends and love ones. Find really beautiful cards there and make sure you think of something to tell the recipient, something that comes from the heart.

Big savings on phone calls
These days, if you can save on any expense at all, you need to grab it, act on it. Times are hard. Finding funds for everything the family needs has become a big effort even for working couples. Our family is in the same boat as the next average family here in the country.
That is why when I hear or read something that will save money for us, I take note of it. I make sure of that. So when I heard about TurboCall.com’s Web-Call, I made sure I read it thoroughly.
Web-Call offers phone calls generated from the web-page. It can work from any country and it has low international calling rates. Does that sound like big savings to you? It does to me.
I remember a friend of mine went to the US to work there. Since an only girl and her family is here, she always make it a point to call her family once a day. Just so they stop worrying about her. You can just imagine her shock when her roaming calls appeared on her mobile phone bill. It is five times more than the usual bill she receives. That became a dilemma for her that time because her parents, most especially her dad, wanted to hear her voice instead of just chatting with her via the internet. Had she known about Web-Call before, she would not have incurred that much in international calls.
So if your international calls is also costing you an arm and leg every month, I suggest you hurry up and check out TurboCall.com’s Web-Call. Save from your communications expense. Make a Web-Call instead.
Do you know this?

Weekend Snapshot #7
Part of the weekend spent at the mall…
The long weekend is over. It’s back to school or work tomorrow for most of us. Had some fun the past few days?
The long weekend started last October 26 for me. I spent a few days going from one mall to the other with my sisters. Then on November 1, the whole family went to the cemetery with some relatives to visit my brother and my mom’s grave.
Now the long holiday week is over and it’s now back to work
Tomorrow, try to think of anything else other than the places you’ve been to for the past few days to be able to bounce back immediately.
Have a great week ahead everyone!

A multimedia company for small businesses
Does your company need some online videos for your website? Or some online videos that you will use for some very important sales and marketing presentations?
I know that most multimedia companies these days charge an arm and a leg for them to produce some online videos of good quality. I know that first hand because I have been with 3 start-up companies already, including my current one. Our company is just finishing its official website and wanted to include some videos showing the operations of the business. When we received the proposal from two companies we asked one from, my Australian boss got shocked with the prices quoted on both proposals. It was very costly!
Now, thank goodness I found a Multimedia Company Produces Online Videos for small Business. LA Management is a full service marketing firm that provides Strategic Online Marketing, Advertising, Print Design, Video Production, Website Design and Multimedia Production. Our services span the full range of communications.
