Weekend Snapshot #23 - Haircut

I had a haircut a few days ago. I easily get irritated when my hair grows past my shoulders. Besides, it’s still hot here in Manila despite the rain.

A thriving commercial district

I know someone who is looking at several commercial real estate properties. She will be building a commercial complex and is looking at a place that has a potential to become a bustling commercial district. She has seen a few places here in the metro that started out small and are now thriving districts. If I also have the capital to buy a commercial real estate property I would have done so already. There is a commercial district near our residence and I have seen how it started until it grew to what it is now. It is a good business and a profitable one at that.

Taking up Nursing

I learned that my cousin, DJ, who’s the same age as my youngest sibling, James, will be taking up Nursing. He is quite excited about it, been telling almost all of us about his decision. I admire his bravery. I once thought of being a medical student but then I realized I don’t like the sight of too much blood and the smell of open wounds and all. And touching it while doing an examination… Of course there exam gloves that one can use when doing all those examinations but still.

Well, Nursing will be good for DJ. He will be the first medical person in the family. We will support him anyway we can.
