Searching…

Sunday, August 10th, 2008

The economy is really in a slump. A lot of my friends are searching for jobs, at least one is looking for Los Angeles jobs, while the others are fine where they are. My auditor friend in New York is quite secure with her job but she is still feeling the brunt of the slump. What with gas prices rising, basic commodities becoming more costly… well, I believe everyone is really feeling the sad state of the economy. I just wish things will turn for the better soon.

Talk about diet again

Sunday, August 10th, 2008

I believe the topic of dieting and losing weight could never be exhausted. There are just too many facets to this perennial issue that there is bound to be a new angle to it. I just read about that 15-year-old fattest girl in UK who weighs over 400 pounds. How that happened, I just couldn’t imagine. Awareness is really something that should be forced to so many people now. It is imperative that parents monitor their kids’ food intake. Otherwise, there would be a lot of 15-year-old kids weighing like that girl. For me, I will proceed to read more on diet pills online. Acceptance is just the first step. Owning the problem is another one.

Facial expression

Sunday, August 10th, 2008

I was watching this fashion reality show and was bothered by one of the contestants. Imagine, the girl obviously has acne and she would make facial expressions that I am sure she knows will only heighten the focus on her acne more. There are so many best acne products out there and I believe this could be easily cured now. Or at least she should do something about her hair and facial expression (always looking like she was about to cry). Oh well…

Animated clocks anyone?

Saturday, August 9th, 2008

Truth be told, as soon as July comes in, I think of holiday gifts already. December sneaks up on you and this has happened to me numerous times in the past. It is just embarrassing to find oneself without a ready gift to someone who should have been in that person’s Christmas list in the first place. So what I do is, every time I find something that I know I can give as a holiday present, I grab it. Just like the 3D clocks that I saw at animated clocks.

I know that several of my cousins are availing of college dormitories in the universities they are presently enrolled at. And instead of them buying wall clocks, I might as well give them one. I always give out practical gifts, one that could be used on a daily basis. Unless there is a specific request from the recipient, I will choose something for that person instead. I saw a couple of novelty wall clocks at Animated Clocks as well. I believe I will give that to some relatives in the province. Clocks are something that we need but an item that we don’t usually fuss about. Am I right?

Property in San Juan

Friday, August 8th, 2008

Would you like to have a property in San Juan? This property is much like the ones in Miami beach. Of course, the latter is already crowded. But if you want the Miami of before, I suggest you look into getting your hands in a Nicaragua real estate property. San Juan is still a paradise, untouched.

I remember a blogger-friend whose dream is to have a beach front property, much like what a Nicaragua property would be like. It will be a refuge in times of confusion. I should know. I kept hearing it from a co-worker before who had a windfall and used it to purchase a beach front property. Everytime she is plagued by something, she would retreat to her property and ‘recuperate’ there.

So if you are interested with a Nicaragua beach property, then check out one now and consider it a sound investment if you decide to purchase one. I would if I have the money.
