The corsets saved the day!
The three ladies who were designated as bridesmaids had their gowns fitted more than a month before the wedding day. They were too complacent for their own good after the fitting. They went to this town where they stayed for a week and attended a feast there where they binged. Can you imagine what happened?
Yes, they gained weight!
Come wedding day, their gowns were slightly smaller than when they fitted it the last time. Good thing there were corsets used to help the ladies fit into their gowns. The three were chanting just a little bit more the whole time they’re lacing the corsets!
