My sister and I have been talking about starting a family business. We were in Thailand and we were surrounded by so many clothes, bags, shoes, and accessories. My sister already had an online business before but she had to stop because she got busy with work and, well, we don’t really have enough for capital to open a store of her own.
So we got to talk about it and we are planning to apply for small business loans. It will cover the opening of an actual store and the first few months of operations. We are going to pool our resources together as part of the company funds and then we’ll see from there.
It’s still an idea that’s taking shape but the desire to put up a family business as a fall back for all of us is already there. We are going to talk to the rest of the family once we finalize our plans.
