Mellow music and the rain

Whenever it’s raining, I always get sad for one reason or another. It can be because I am reminiscing about a childhood event and I would miss someone from my past. Or I would be listening to mellow music and it would trigger a sad memory.

Melancholy is the right term for the funk I would be in whenever there’s rain.

Right this very minute, I am thinking of ‘friends’ lost. I am thinking of those days when we would be up until four in the morning talking about music, movies, books, and everything in between!
