A Chronicler’s Life

We were watching our favorite telenovela when it was interrupted by a Flash Report. It was a very disturbing news that there has been a huge blast in the south wing section of Batasan Pambansa and some were seriously injured. I was dumbfounded staring at the television while the anchorman was narrating what really transpired. I felt hot tears of anger running down my cheeks because just recently the entire country was deeply saddened by the demise of innocent people due to Glorietta mall bombing and now this after just a few weeks. Was this a work of a terrorist or someone from the administration as a delaying tactic to the impeachment trial? I don’t know. All I know is that I’m stark mad that because of power hungry people or people who thinks they are fighting for something, have already wasted the lives of normal living civilians in their conquest for power. When will this ever stop? I hope and pray that the next time they are in a killing frenzy mood, they would spare the lives of those people who don’t have anything to do with them. I hope that will still have a happy Christmas here in the Philippines despite of what’s happening. World Peace is still on top of my Christmas wish list ever since I was a kid. I hope that one day, God will make this one ultimate wish of mine come true.
