Parties and singing

In this country, where there are gatherings there will surely be a karaoke around. It’s a given already. We love singing and merry-making. Parties are big and festive even if there is not much to spare for food and other supplies. As long as there’s singing, everything’s fine!

A fine example is a large family in our neighborhood. They live in this single house and almost every week, someone’s celebrating his/her birthday. I doubt they can afford to party each and every week but I know that they prepare a simple spread and bust out the mic and the karaoke and they’re all set to party!
