One of the things that I always tell my love ones is to take their education seriously. It’s not all about getting high grades and being in the Dean’s List. What I am talking about is learning whatever you can so that you will be prepared for what’s out there when you go to work and to make sure you get that diploma which will be your ticket to big corporations.
Some people might scoff at the idea of finishing college but let me tell you this. We can’t all be Bill Gates and Steve Jobs, you know. Some people are just crazy genius, really hardworking and lucky in their lives. Dropping out of college to pursue something is a big risk we can’t all take. Hey, by all means do grab at that chance but if it didn’t pan out, then go back to school and finish what you started.
Trust me, most companies still rely on your diploma to hire you. Especially in this country where no matter how good you are if you don’t have the right diploma you will not get hired.
