The last song syndrome

Funny how I dislike a particular song so much but kept on repeating it by humming it over and over in my head. One example is that ugly song Beautiful Girls. I don’t know what’s with that song but I truly hate it! Sexist and what’s with the “suicidal” word?? The song makes light of suicide and the singer, including everyone behind that pop song, does not mind that a lot of kids and teenagers will be singing the song over and over and will be saying the word “suicidal” every time they will sing the chorus. The irresponsible people behind that ugly song makes light of the fact that suicide will now be an ordinary word to a lot of minors, thereby making it seem okay to commit one. Of course, we all have different interpretations of the song, but for me, whatever is the reason behind the song, it will remain ugly and non sense to me.

But there are songs that remain in my head that are good. Love songs, songs by Kenny G, that Batman theme song, old songs and a whole lot more.

I believe they call it the last song syndrome…
