Just a quick advice
For everyone who is into paid blogging…
Focus more on Sponsored Review and PayU2Blog. They give out easier assignments and pay you faster than the others. Nalaos na nga sa akin ang PPP eh. Hahahah…
The bulk of my earnings for the past month have come from these programs.
And there are two orders for me to do a review of their services and another one for their site. First ever!
ReviewMe really works! So make sure that badge that you get with your review price tag gets prominent display on your blog okay? I got mine displayed at my akoni sidebar. You never know a potential advertiser is lurking at your blog. That’s what happened to me.
I’ve yet to prove if PPP Direct really works.
And notice how maarte PPP is? They require you to have an interim post in between PPP opps whereas these other programs do not require you to do that. They just want substantial traffic for your blog and maintain more non-paid than the paid posts.
Anyway, that’s all for now. I still have 3 more sponsored posts to write. And I will do the memes and other stuff I’ve promised after all these.
Happy Sunday everyone!

Reminiscin’
Do you guys remember this song?
When I keep wondering who’s holding Donna now
And I keep wondering who’s heart she’s knocking around
There’s nothing I wouldn’t do
To be in his shoes somehow
And I keep wondering who’s holding Donna now
And I keep wondering what magic can be found
To turn me back to the one who’s holding Donna now
I just remembered because I am currently listening to it. I remember this was my high school classmate’s favorite song. I just remembered hehe…
Songs can make us remember even the tiniest details of our lives. When you hear a song, you feel this tug in your heart and then a memory resurfaces, good or bad.
During nights like these, when I have tons of things to do, I make it a point to turn on the radio. Besides keeping me company, music helps me think.
And I was able to hear this old song din…
in my time, i’ve lived and loved so much
through each high and low, i let my heart be touched
in my time, there isnt much i’ve missed,
i’ve seen love come and go, but heaven knows, i’ve never loved like this
in my time
My mom was into love songs, even when I was a kid. There were only 3 stations allowed in our home… 90.7 Love Radio (the old station not this new noisy one), 94.7 Mellow Touch and 96.3 WRock. Yan lang, wala ng iba. So you can just imagine the songs we all listen to. I got to meet The Carpenters, Carly Simon, Bee Gees, Kenny Rogers, George Benson and the like. Mellow songs talaga. My friends were laughing at me because my favorite songs were super oldies when everyone was into pop music. I don’t know if people my age knows Johnny Mathis. I love that man’s voice! Ay, I have 2 friends pala who knows him and can relate to what I’m saying. Kaya when Josh Groban and Michael Buble became popular, I was so happy because the oldies are back. And if you like Michael Buble, better listen to Harry Connick, Jr. He came out prior to Michael Buble and his voice is… hay sexy! Okay I should stop blabbering now…
All I wanted to tell you guys lang naman is ang ganda ng songs sa madaling araw…
Web hosting information for everyone
Nowadays, creating a website for your company, be it a small or a big one, is mandatory. A website is the fastest way to make your business a household name. Almost every person right now owns a personal computer and accesses the internet at least once a day. And what better way for a business to promote itself and make itself known to everyone but by making it accessible to millions of internet users.
But first off, you need a good web host. How would you know things about web hosting?
Well, there is a website dedicated to web hosting information… webhostinginformation.net is the website to go with all your questions about website hosting. The site dishes out everything you need to know when it comes to different web hosting companies. They review web hosting services. They even have a featured review on the index of their website.
Web Hosting Information also delivers news on the Hosting Industry. What is happening right now… what is the latest in the industry… they even have podcasts so you can conveniently listen to it. Podcasts are great especially for the sight-impaired persons.
The website also has a section called Resources. This section has various articles on the different concerns when it comes to web hosting and everything related to it. From A Checklist for Moving Your Site to a New Server to Can Your Web Hosting Company Steal Your Customer’s Data? to Zen Cart. I find these topics very interesting How to Find the Best Deal on Domain Names and How to Find the Best Webhosting Deal. Now these I have to read. I plan on buying another domain sometime soon so I know I can get tips from these articles. Resources are group per category for easy searching on the user’s part. A sleepy day in the office
I love the weather. It’s so cold. All I can think about is burrowing under my blanket at home, my new book Train Man and a hot cup of coffee… hay…
Or I can stay under the blanket and doze off for hours.
Wishful thinking.
I have to finish a report by this afternoon. Sucks! Oh well…

I just love Him. He knows when I need help and He responds immediately.
Some people think I have lotsa money with me. I earn more than the average employee. I even earn extra income from my sponsored posts. But I am the breadwinner in our family and I support my grandparents. I have mouths to feed. And I am the type of person who can’t say no to relatives. So there comes a time at least once every two months that I go ‘broke’. But you know what, I don’t really worry that much anymore unlike before. Because time and again, I have proven that help comes when I least expect it.
Like today, my budget is close to nil yet when I opened my email a few hours ago, I saw an email from BTOP telling me that they deposited money to my bank account for some referrals. Yey! May pera na uli ako
What I want to say here is that trust in Him and He will surely provide.
Happy Thursday everyone!
A Worthy Cause
Most people spend money on unnecessary purchases. Admit it. You might be one of those people. I am one of those people. I admit it. I sometimes buy things (notepads most of the time) that I do not necessarily need. Most of the time, I buy something just because it is cute or my sister would probably love it (even if I know she does not need it at all). These small purchases when you add up would amount to a substantial amount of money. Bad, I know.
So instead of splurging on unnecessary things, why now give the money instead to worthy causes. Say, a charitable institution?
There are various organizations out there who ask for help from private citizens in funding their programs. Most of these organizations deal with children. And those organizations are the ones I truly support.
One such organization is the Boat Angel. Boat Angel helps at risk kids and support other programs concerning children. Used boats may be donated to this organization through Car Angel. They will pick up the boat and sell it. Funds from the sale will go directly to their various programs. Or if you have a specific legitimate charitable organization in mind, they can help you arrange that funds from the sale of your boat will be given to that particular charity.
But for you to know, BoatAngel helps at risk kids and creates uplifting FREE DVD’s for kids. They have a boat angel outreach center and this is where most funds go to. So let’s go and spread the word about Boat Angel and Car Angel now.
Coffee may slow memory declines in women: study
Drinking more than three cups of coffee a day helped protect older women against some age-related memory decline, French researchers said on Monday, giving women more reason to love the world’s most popular stimulant.
Men did not enjoy the same benefit, they said.
“The more coffee one drank, the better the effects seemed to be on (women’s) memory functioning in particular,” said Karen Ritchie at the French National Institute of Medical Research, whose work appears in the journal Neurology.
The researchers followed more than 7,000 men and women in three French cities, checking their health and mental function and asking them about their current and past eating and drinking habits, their friends, and their daily activities.
They used this information to sort out the specific role caffeine played in these women’s lives.
They found that women who drank more than three cups of coffee per day, or its caffeine equivalent in tea, retained more of their verbal and — to a lesser extent — visual memories over four years.
These women had a 33 percent lower odds of having verbal memory declines and 18 percent lower odds of having visual and spatial memory declines, compared to women who drank one cup or fewer per day.
The effect also depended on age, with women over 80 reaping more benefits from these beverages than those who were 10 to 15 years younger, Ritchie’s team wrote. It was unclear whether current or former coffee consumption made the difference.
Some studies in mice have suggested that caffeine might block the buildup of proteins that lead to mental decline.
Ritchie is not sure why only women benefited in her study.
“Our best guess is that women don’t metabolize coffee in the same way (as men),” she said in a telephone interview.
Ritchie plans to follow the women longer to see if caffeine delays the onset of dementia — the mental confusion that signals Alzheimer’s disease and other brain disorders.
She said people should weigh any brain gains derived from caffeine against other effects of the stimulant, including raised blood pressure.
The average American drinks one to two cups of coffee a day, according to the National Coffee Association.

I wish I find a guy who will tell me those words.
And love me for the geek that I am.

It was a great long weekend for me. I was able to rest and read some books. I was able to sleep a lot as well, something I’ve been neglecting when I am not sick. That is why you haven’t seen me around for days. I update my blogs because of the sponsored posts I need to upload but afterward, I log out and go back to bed.
Anyway, now I am not sick anymore and I am well-rested. Rain started pouring this afternoon and it was really good. Life is so much better when you see it through happy eyes

A tour of the land down under
When traveling abroad, one always has to consider a number of things… airfare, accommodations, airport transfer and touring the place where you are going. Normally, there are tour packages available for you to choose from. This will include round trip plane ticket, accommodation, tour of the place and some choice meals. But you don’t have a say in your accommodation.
Australia has been in my list of places to explore. Sydney, Melbourne and Brisbane are just a few of the place in Australia I would love to go to. Finding a Hotel in Sydney is easy. Just go to CheaperThanHotels.com.au and book yourself in a hotel near the Harbour. You will get a fantastic view of the Opera House for sure.
Finding a Hotel in Melbourne or a Hotel in Brisbane is also just as fast and easy. CheaperThanHotels.com.au can help make your accommodations a great one, with cheaper charges. And yes, they can help you tour the place if you want. Just log on to CheaperThanHotels.com.au and make sure you find that perfect accommodation for a cheaper price.
Ambitious
Kanina, while having lunch, I remember my very first job interview after graduation in college. I applied at Metrobank. I was interviewed by some bank officers and one of them asked me this question…
Where/how do you see yourself 5 years from now?
Without batting an eyelash, I told him that I believe I’d already be a manager by that time, probably managing a small group of accountants.
The man laughed at me. I was too ambitious, he said.
5 years from that interview, I was already with a call center company, managing a group of 3 accountants, second to the finance director of the Philippine business unit.
I forgot the name of the bank officer. I didn’t harbor a grudge against him. I just think that some people by nature tend to belittle their fellow human being that they forget a vision can become a reality once you focus yourself into achieving it.

I am an accountant, a CPA. I'd been working for 10 years as a corporate rat when I decided to quit. I am now working at home as a consultant and full time blogger.
