My family and I are very much affected by news reports of break-ins in residential areas. Whenever there’s a news like that, we would watch it and make sure we check the safety of our own home.

Can you imagine someone breaking inside your home while you are all inside either sleeping or unaware of the danger lurking inside the very place you thought you’ll always be safe in? It’s scary!

No wonder almost every home have grills or something similar to it to protect entry points into the house. Windows, doors, and even open garages and parking spaces are being protected by grills. I don’t like the feeling of being ‘imprisoned’ inside my home. But if it will keep me safe from the dangers lurking outside, then I will gladly put up with it.
