Last Saturday, our mailbox was full of many advertising fliers from different products. Every saturday we receive them for next week’s news and sales from the store. The fliers came from different supermarket, car shop, furniture shop and even a sport shop which have a special offer about Cobra golf equipment. What I like about the fliers are the supermarket sales for the week and from that I can compare which product is the cheapest.

Ang aking mga mina ni obra
Ang mga pinta na yan ay gawa sa sa mga papel serbilyeta (paper napkins). Ang tawag sa kasanayan sa gawaing-kamay (handicraft) na iyan ay paper napkin applique. Ang mga papel serbilyeta ay pwedeng idesenyo sa mga pagbating tarheta (greeting cards), plato, baso, plurera, paso at kung ano pa. Pumili ako ng magandang disenyo ng mga papel serbilyeta at ito’y aking idinikit sa lona (canvas) gamit ang panikit (paint applique glue) at isang escobang pangpinta (paintbrush). Nagustuhan ko ang paraan ng sining na ito dahil di naman ako marunong mag pinta o gumuhit man lang. Kaya sa pamamagitan niyan may na mani obra ako.

Yesterday after my class, I went to the department store to buy birthday gift for my niece. I was in hurry since the birthday party was also yesterday afternoon. I dont have any idea when I entered the store. I looked for some accesories and I thought a bag would be good. but then I saw this pretty display girls with vintage sunglasses. I find it cool for a teenager and so I bought one and requested it to be wrapped as a birthday gift. When I handed the gift to my niece she opened right away and she was delighted with it. We ended up taking pictures with her and she also gamely posed for my shots.
