Stopover

After valentines day i was quite busy and i didnt able to update my blog. Since it’s the last day of february why not give you the high lights of the past weeks.

Mon. Feb. 20 my mother send me Sms asking what would I like as a padala cause someone got home. Hehehe… im missing balut already but im not quite sure if that is allowed during check in sessions in the airport since bird’s flu virus landed here. anyway I just reminded them to send the light ones and not to forget my cornik.

Weds. Feb. 22 I got so bored at home I invited my hubby to go for a walk eventhough he’s not allowed to go out since he’s on a sick leave due to muscles pains he got when we’re moving to our new flat. I insisted so we drove 15 km far from our place that no one could recognized us.( pahamak talaga) And we landed to this

hmm..kaya pala ang lamig dito napakalaki ng mga ventilator!

Thurs. Feb. 23 Carnival(Mardi Gras or Fashing) every year Germans celebrate it as a time for merry making before lenten season comes.They have host parades, costume balls, puppet theaters and carnival choruses laced with humor, wit and satire. This is very popular in Cologne area, At 11:00 am on Thursday all work stops, businesses and offices shut down. Colleagues pull out their costumes and sway to folksy Carnival songs At exactly 11:11 am they all cry out “Kölle Alaaf”, which basically means, let’s party. Of course the beer never stops flowing.

Fri. Feb. 24 Proclamation 1017 ano ba na naman ito! after 20 years na hinangaan tayo ng buong mundo back to zero na naman tayo! paulit ulit na lang sawa na kami!

Sat. Feb 25 we attended a lunch birthday party hosted by my father-in-law . he is 69 years old still fit, alive and kicking. His favorite sport car racing Formel 1 not to mention he’s the Pres. Of the Funs club. Salute!

Mon. Feb.27 I got an email from my sister that she meet my grade school best friend. Wow after no news from her and from me also cause im always in a the process of hibernation that’s why I always lost contact with my friends hehehe… I immediately send her sms and found out that shes doing well with her hubby(our batchmate) and her baby boy.

O gracious God, we will never understand the sorrows of the world, but by your grace we will not turn away from them. Renew and sustain in us the spirit of love that crosses miles. Cheer and encourage those who labor to help the injured, the homeless, the hungry and those in despair. Bless and soften the hearts of those who would take advantage of tragedy for their own profit, that they may come to know where true joy is to be found. Unite us in prayer with all those who look for help, and use us to come speedily to them with the things that they need. We ask these things in your own most holy Name. Amen.
