it was a busy weekend last week due to the my inlaws 70th birthday. from preparation to the actual event and from packing up. thanks to all the members of the family we made everyone happy specially the celebrants and we all indeed enjoy the party. it was friday afternoon when we started to prepare the venue a rented parish hall. we, the women were incharged of decoration, and the dinner utensils. the men on sounds, cleanliness, chairs and tables. our boss is elder SIL. the grandchildren were not also excuse they were incharged in serving the drinks. the event started at 6pm saturday night, the guest were relatives and friends from my inlaws. as an appetizer cocktails and champagne were served. the guest was also entertained by a singing couple. the buffet was opened by a speech from FIL and a wine toast from MIL. at the course of the dinner my other SIL and kids presented their surprise… a different flavor cakes which she personally baked. and an ice cake with 70 candles.which was blown by my inlaws. some friends and relatives also made their wishes and speech for the celebrant. after dinner the floor was opened for a dance by the celebrant and whoever want to dance too. the affair ended up at 3am and everyone have a happy face heading home for it was great party celebrating a 70 year of lively life.

snowfall before vday, i did a little pa -effect to make it more icy cool! : ) lol
just love the snowfall here in our place, only a meager of it compare to other places that were burried with snow brrr…and the best of all, snow is exhilarating and the snowflakes are like kisses and manna that poured out from heaven.

hay salamat! tahimik na ang kapaligiran tapos na ang carnivals at papasok na ang lenten season nagsimula kahapon ang ash wednesday. mainam ang ganitong araw at makakadiet na naman ako dahil bihira lang ang karne buti si hubhub laging on fasting dahil vegetarian. heheh im sure nagrereklamo din mga animals sa kanya kasi bakit daw inaagawan niya sila ng pagkain ng mga vegetables heheh… di ba pagkain din nila yun.
kahapon namalengke na rin ako dinamihan ko ng mga gulay gulay at may mga isda na rin at delata na tunfish ang aking binili. magbabayad na sana ako sa counter nang makalimutan kong bumili ng wash powder kaya balik ulit ako. nang magbayad na ako may kasama pa lang cd yung washpowder na nabili ko.
pagdating ko sa bahay pinatugtug ko ito at oks siya original ang mga kanta. at ito favorite ko dun yun lang naiiba sa lahat ng love songs dun.
ayayayyyyyyy… tamang tama international friendship week daw mula nung feb 18- 24. so mga frenship happy frenship week sa lahat! nalala ko tong song na to lagi noon kinakanta as graduation song. at talagang mapapaiyak ka pa. ganda kasi ng message nito.
nung nagtuturo pa ako about friends ang laging first topic namin on the 1st day of school. yun bang getting to know each other kaming lahat. tulad ng blogging world para tayong nasa school. were all come together as classmates full of learnings habang tayo ay naging magkaibigan. we share and be kind as we work and we play. and our friendship will grow with each passing day. tapos may kanta pa kaming

sa mundo ng high tech at tupperware oh di bah sosy, bihira lang makahanap ng true friends. hay miss ko na si bessfren my one and only best friend. bakit iisa lang? kasi sa lahat ng journey namin sa life eh iisa ang road na tinahak namin. maliban na lang ngayon na married na kami at siya may daughter na si inaanak. nasabi ko nga from highschool, college at work pa magkasama kami. papano ba maging true friends? friends lang ba tayo sa chikahan, sa kadaldalan, sa kalokohan ay oo nga pala in good times and bad times. how about sa circles of friends? lalo na yung by 3’s, 4’s or whatever basta madami siyempre mahirap yun may selosan, kampihan, agawan ng attention at may di magkavibes at one thing meron na meron nag lilider leaderan sa grupo. nakita ko yan sa mga studs ko before. syempre bilang adviser nila responsibility ko to patched up everything para lahat happy.bago pa man makarating kay guidance o kay principal. another one example kaming mga sisterettes. syempre may away-away yan kung saan pabor o kampi. being the nakakatanda turo lagi nina papush at mamush na ayusin ang ano mang gulo. wag nang let the fire burning at di na ako pa mismo ang magpapalaki nito. lahat naman nakukuha sa mabuting usapan. basta lahat tayo may truefriends in good times or in crimes hehehe… kaya if your friendly and you know it! clap your hands! clap! clap! o kaya love… love.. love…your friends! eto na lang iwan ko sa inyo to ponder just love it!

ngayon ay Women’s Carnival Day dito. isa ito sa mga celebration tuwing carnival na magtatapos sa lunes sa pamamagitan ng isang parade. ang araw na ito ay para lamang sa mga babae. sila ang hari at control nila ang lahat. kaya makikita silang naka costume in fancy dresses papuntang trabaho. ang mga lalaki ay di nag susuot ng necktie sa araw na ito kasi ginugupit ito ng mga babae. ngayong araw din ang mga babae ay allowed mag kiss kahit sinong lalaki na gusto nila. sa gabi may malaking party ” for girls only” invited din mga lalaki basta sila magbababyad ng mga bills sa lahat ng mga women’s drinks.
guess what i received last vday? isn’t from my hub-hub it’s from MIL hehehe
ito pa: a card from my mader dear and a wish granted… my salompas!
hows your vday? for me its just a normal day despite that my computer & cellphone were bombarded with vday messages heheh thanks to all!. i have no plans to celebrate so hub-hub went home last night with flowers and a take home pizza for our dinner.
